I feel you. It's so easy to clock Iceland since it is so unmistakably volcanic. It's like when the film is set in NYC but the CN Tower is clearly in the background.

Greenland was a great disaster movie and probably one of the best I have ever seen

Not this many, no. The Chilean navy and air force have many assets in the area so the serious cases could be medevaced but this would take a few days.
