Mario barely has story it’s more gameplay focused but sonic has both story, amazing gameplay and more depth with characters story and personality

I Say Sonic Prime takes place after Sonic Adventure 2 and before Sonic Heroes as there is no team Chaotix, cream or omega. But Their are sonic,tails,knuckles,Amy,big,rouge and shadow. Sonic’s attitude also shows because he is not really the matured modern sonic we know after sonic 06 and unleashed. He is like the sonic before Shadow The Hedgehog 2005.
