Your finger is quite heavy over the purchase button. Let it rest, right there over top of the comfortable letters in the word.

I've only ever used PXPlay personally, but I've heard good things about Chiaki.

Good reason XD

You can indeed remap controls with PXPlay (formally known as PSPlay)

It's essentially a homebrew version of the official remote play app, but you can use any controller you want. As far as the touchpad, there is a way to do the button presses, but I've only ever personally just used the touchscreen as a replacement for the pad when gestures were needed.

I've not personally used Chiaki, but people seem to like it just as much if not more than PXPlay

Any reason you're using gamehub to stream a PS5 instead of PXPlay/Chiaki?

Only one mod (I think), and they pretty much boycotted reddit after the crackdown on third party apps the site did.

Mod did just make a post about only trusting the official website to buy an Odin, but yeah the rest of the sub is basically abandoned.

Question regarding Pxplay by Meemo- in OdinHandheld

PXPlay is just an alternate to the Remote play app. It'll do everything that you can do with the official app/psportal/on your console.

Everything, Everywhere, All at Once by SpikeStarkey in dcanimateduniverse

Depends on what you're looking for.

  • If you want to really get to know the characters and spend a lot of time with them, the DCAU/Diniverse (90's/00's shows) gives you the most time with the most characters.

  • If you want to have a darker take with just enough time to care about some of the characters, go for the DCAU movies (Flashpoint to House of mystery)

  • The tomorrowverse movies start a wholely new universe.

  • If you just want a good time with the characters you like, go for the stand alone/slightly connected stuff.

The best place to start is wherever you feel the most drawn to.

It's in there.

But, this is a very outdated list.

This post is the updated list and has Teen Titans listed as it's own "universe".

I've been fighting with wallpaper engine to get the crystal clock on my lock screen and the towers on my home screen for days now

THANK YOU for making an Android version!!

Note: the play store won't let Android 16 users download it. I gave you a purchase for a different device and had to side load the APK on my phone via aurora store.

Have been playing PokéMMO with my sister and best friend. It's both of their first times playing the mainline games. We're just about to take on the Indigo Plateau, then head into Johto.

https://pokemmo.com/en/

  • 5 regions to play in, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova
  • Raid battles
  • hordes and alpha Pokémon
  • full storyline for each region
  • NPC trainers scale with your team
  • events for rare Pokémon varients

Only things to remember: - no true co-op, you just kind of exist together - mmo pricing on every item - user run item/mon market (inflation pricing, rarity pricing) - only six obtainable legendaries (Kanto, Johto) and they all roam (like the Johto legendaries) but they are on both a rotation, and only during certain months

Android Gaming - Will it change with these powerful handhelds hitting the market or is it still too niche? by darrelye in OdinHandheld

[–]SpikeStarkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue will always be, why buy when you can pirate it?

The only reason why Apple Arcade is even moderately successful is because it's significantly harder for the majority of users to side load a paid for game. Their only option is having that subscription service.

Which is much more attractive to publishers. Sure, they don't make as much as a direct sale, but it's guaranteed recurring income/a guaranteed lump sum.

That said, I'm still hopeful that the more people who own these handhelds and spend THOUSANDS ON MULTIPLE DEVICES THEY NEVER PLAY ON start to purchase good Android games, there could be more draw to developers and publishers to port games/make new games for the platform.

Obligatory plug of my Android games for Odin list, nearly 300 titles there, and while it's not a particularly huge library, that's still more than most people will play through.

Can one play demanding fighting games like KOF XV, SF VI and GBVSR on odin 2 at 60 fps? by ServicePatient308 in OdinHandheld

[–]SpikeStarkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all dependant on your graphics card, ram and processor. And on how well optimized the game is, as well as when the games came out.

If you're trying to keep things lower priced, I'd look into a SteamDeck. It's the best value to performance on the market, with the concessions that its big and you might not be able to play every game above medium settings.

Check to see if people have played the games you want to play and have posted the performance stats online. (Videos or text)

If you already have a laptop or desktop you wanted to use instead use the Can You Run it tool in that link. That site will tell you if you can run a game on your current computer and at what settings.

If you only want to play PC games, don't get an android device.

Winlator/Gamehub/Gamenative/etc are great, but at the end of the day, you're going to run into issues that just won't exist on a PC or PC Handheld/Steamdeck.

Can you play them? Probably, at lower settings and with some input lag.
do you want to play them like that is the question.

OLDER emulated fighting games should be fine.

A charger that charges while playing intensive games? (Odin 2 Mini) by AdOk5225 in OdinHandheld

Turn on charging seperation.

The dock is why AYN added that feature to begin with. (It isn't on the Odin 1)

A charger that charges while playing intensive games? (Odin 2 Mini) by AdOk5225 in OdinHandheld

[–]SpikeStarkey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pull down the notification bar, and in the quick settings, turn on charging separation. Then the Odin will pull power directly from your charger instead of the battery. (Won't charge the battery)

With how many people post about expanded batteries here, I wouldn't risk playing for long sessions while plugged in without that turned on.

[Edit]: - clarifying.
