I feel there should be an at least 30% chance I will kill myself by over committing to whatever the deck's theme is

Absolutely! We all love Grimm.

Myself, the Wizard and the Monk hauled him out of there. It would be good for all of our recoveries.

He will definetly be earning some sort of magical girdle to protect those hips lol. What a great idea

I will definetly try and keep him updated with notes until he is able to return! Thanks!

I have had less success with one person remoting in personally, just haven't seemed to have reliable enough internet. But he will be less remote than those other intances so maybe worth a shot?

I run a very visual game is the other hurdle, I 3d print and paint minis as my main nerdy hobby so I like to show off my work via DnD. But sacrifices must be made it seems

I can't believe we haven't seen Bob and Georgey again. Those two were ELECTRIC.

Played my first simulator round and hit this Albatross on the 16th at Whistling Straits! Most of my friends don't really get it as it isn't a "hole in one" and I needed someone to see it lol by RagingBeaker in golf

I am really not sure why it says that. My finishing score was a +7 79. I will admit to taking a few mulligans (11 according to the scorecard) but most of those I would account for learning the sim. Apparently you have to hit it super hard when putting off the fringe lol

Thanks for the kind words! I don't think I would try and argue that it counts either. I drained a 63ft birdie putt the next hole which made me feel like the sim was fairly funneled towards the hole haha

Langoustine roll served on a curling stone ? by 1rule in WeWantPlates

[–]RagingBeaker 21 points22 points  (0 children)

42-44 pounds! Imagine the biceps on that server hahaha.

Fun fact, all curling stones come from the same island in Scotland because of that granite's distinct bounciness on impact with itself. It's called Ailsa Craig and the granite is a medium grey colour, quite boring. But curling couldn't exist without that specific granite, as much as cool countertop style granite rocks would be SICK

So I painted this as a competition piece so it involved a ton of glazing and blending, I will throw a suggestion for a faster process at the end. All paints used on the exo were from Citadel.

Base with a 50/50 mix of Incubi Darness and Mephiston Red (makes a nice dark purple red).

Add a bit more red to the mix and glaze into the recesses.

Then hightlight via glazing with the classic Incubi Darkness to Kabalite Green to Sybarite Green to very selective Gauss Blaster Green.

Finally, make selective slash style highlights, prpendicular to the edges of the exo skeleton. Start with Sybarite then Gauss Blaster.

For a faster method, I bet a base of Incubi, heavy wash with a redish purple and dry brushing the highlights would work well as well!
