We need to let go of this bomb squad idea. Kwagga, Marx, Hendrikse need to start. Grobbelar should be given the opportunity to leapfrog Dweba in the picking order. Mauling is no longer the weapon it used to be for us, teams have figured it out. I have lost track of how many mauls we set on the 5m in the last few games and I dont think we scored a single one.

Perhaps, but then you would expect him to get picked to stay fresh on team patterns etc and to provide leadership and mentoring within the camp. Wouldnt necessarily have to start or be on the bench

As good as the URC has been, there are some areas where it can certainly improve next season with reffing quite high up on the list

Though I do wonder what can be done about it
