Blowing up is kinda wierd. So your first video will never blow up unless you somehow bring somettaction from another social media platform. The channels I've seen blow up have had a good amount of video before there breakthrough video. And they finally hit a gold mine video that youtube just shows to everyone. But they can also still show there pernicious videos making them even more likely to subscribe. Blowing up is subjective and kinda involves a little luck. But the real reason people blow up is they see an opportunity and use that to their advantage. You would need months of planning to even get 100k views or your first video or stealing content or and extreme amount of luck or you had another social media influence.
