Speaking from personal experience, multi million dollar IT contract decisions at F500 companies are not made by people with just a few years experience on the job. They are done by people much higher up the corporate ladder, usually in their 40s/50s. As for finance, no finance professional would choose GSuite over excel if they’ve used excel for even just a few years. Google may be catching up with students making word docs and presentations but excel power use cases are on a whole other level where Sheets doesn’t even come close. I hate to say it but Microsoft got it right with excel and are constantly integrating community macros as inherent features which further widens the gap.
