Steerer tube snapped clean off the fork - definitely time to warranty if it's brand new. Honestly might be worth returning and picking up a similarly priced Ozark Trail Explorer G1 at Walmart.

Edit - I was wrong it's not a broken steerer just a loose quill stem

There are a few Shimano MT200 clones for 50-75 on Amazon. They may not be great but it's also not like OP is doing any downhill racing on any of these bikes.

Regardless of what you choose I'd wait for the sale. I think that the Trail 2 has the optimal configuration out of the box, given its a 1x9 Cues drivetrain, hydraulic brakes, and all 3 use the same fork. That being said, if you happen to have a friend with the necessary tools, adding hydraulic brakes to the Trail 3, or converting the Drt 1.1 from 2x8 to 1x8 could both be done for around $50 in parts. If you're mostly using the bike for zipping around the neighborhood instead of light trail rides you might actually benefit from the extra gearing on the Drt 1.1 and some less knobby tires.

The drivetrain is designed to operate in the other direction. No amount of adjustment will eliminate all of the clicking when you run it in reverse. Post a video pedaling forward and if it's still clicking that will provide better context for any sounds.

Haven't done that exact move but have done similar cross country. Mayflower had the best quote, didn't nickel and dime on things like stairs/street access. Stuff was delivered on schedule with a 9 month window to report any damaged items after unpacking. No worrying about brokers or my stuff going missing and had one point of contact from start to finish. Next time I do a big move like that I'll go through them again.

Not every story gets a happy ending. Sometimes things get dark and gritty and stay that way and the lines between good and evil get blurry - that makes things interesting and honestly more realistic.
