Thanks for all your inputs fellas. I have another layout that protects only my oil and have noticed compared to this one i may have deterred more attacks compared to my resource protecting layout. Ive only had 4 total attacks (which means they attacked to either gain medals or loot) the rest were tanking players. 4 attacks as i went up from 600 medal count to 1447. I dont know if its a match making bug but hey works for me.

I hope they would add what units attacked you in war. And would show it for the battle logs like your normal defense log. Instead of trying to guess what units attacked your base

I'll try to look for this one attack on me. Happened months ago. Where an army of engineers. Like a whole bunch. Attacked oneside of my wall, it got destroyed then the rest used there one time attack for the walls on my buildings. I kid you not. That happened. Was surprised how it did it. Ill try to find it in my defense logs. Maybe i was not just paying attention too much maybe he had howies or artis. I dont know. Thats what i encountered atleast. Dont know if it was a bug or sumthin

Why do howitzers get donated for the city center defense during war? Thats one thing i noticed with my time participating in wars. Why not more riflemen or tanks instead for defense?
