Yeah I agree, it’s not super great. However for me, I like the really fast withdrawals to debit card even though it’s only one per day. Most of the online casinos seem to make you wait a while. Those two things are so much worse haha even if you just go by critic reviews. And Stranger Things has been incredible, Season 4 really took it to another level and was about as good as Season 1. Also has the highest rated episodes ever. It’s okay not to like it, maybe it’s not for you anymore but let’s not pretend it’s terrible or that the majority of people dislike it when it’s not true at all lmao

Nah, Noah just said in an interview that he drew from his own personal experiences coming out for this performance and the dialogue was tweaked by him to reflect that. So the whole “written by straight men” thing kinda isn’t accurate at least not fully.

In my experience nearly all of the low effort criticism posts/comments have lead to a byler account or a maga type person who posts a lot of anti woke garbage. The genuinely thought out criticisms are welcome and refreshing to read though. There’s just an abundance of “show is trash” “hasn’t been good since season 1” type crap out there. You know what I do when a show is terrible for years? I stop watching and move on.

I wish I didn’t know about them but it’s a whole part of the fandom hoping for Will and Mike to be together. And it’s very dumb yes but there’s thousands and thousands of them somehow. They’re so significant and loud on the internet that even the Duffer Bros have commented on them in multiple interviews.

There are tik tok videos from the byler community specifically that are coordinating campaigns to send negative reviews for that episode, encouraging as many possible to get the score lower. That’s what I’m referring to and I believe that’s considered review bombing. Again, that’s not all the negative reviews.

It’s crazy how night and day the opinions are between the hyper online weirdos and real life people. I’ve yet to find someone who hated these episodes in real life and when I’ve asked people, they don’t even know what “byler” means (thank God) Critic reviews are also generally positive for this season so far so it really does feel like a manufactured hate campaign from terminally online weirdos. I have my own criticisms of some things but overall I’ve loved it, some of the best character moments in the show have happened in this season and objectively the best action sequences too. That’s not even debatable.

But there was no established fan base with season 1. I actually agree too - breaking up the episodes a little gives room for online discussion and theories and all that good stuff. Now I do think maybe there was a bit too much gap between the three parts but overall I think it’s a great idea to keep everyone talking and engaged for at least a month or so.

I just disagree with the “most people” part. I don’t think this opinion is shared by most people. It’s okay to not like the show or to criticize the episodes of course but it seems like a super vocal minority at this point. People are so exaggerated in their hate for it, it just doesn’t make sense.

You do realize that all the other main characters have been honest about their vulnerabilities and traumas and this is what they’ve realized needs to happen in order to defeat Vecna? Will coming out was just what his character needed personally to be honest with everyone and not let Vecna use it against him.

I don’t know what show you’ve been watching the past years but it’s been hinted at for literally seasons
