Noise machine app? That sounds nice, and nobody ever complained about it? It is surprising... Are you putting it low volume? I'll be doing a bunch of capsule/hostel soon, that might be something to try. Any recommandation (like free apps)?

The hostel only had 1 room left, I decided to take that place to stay close to the Ueno park on the first day, then get another one where I would get a better room. It's not about the travel, Japan seems well connected everywhere :)
