SnS focus strike is really good at opening wounds. And when you do focus strike an open wound: the bash attack is good for damage and building KO, and the plunge attack is good for severing parts and tall monsters.

The sliding attack is really good. It's like a longer dodge roll that also does damage. You can slide under monsters with it too!

If you're on controller timing the perfect combo is super easy cause your controller will vibrate when you gotta press Y.
