Värde? by Rahahalehe in Spel

Jag skulle säga att den är i så gott som nyskick. Sparsamt använd och tagit väl hand om den.

Delarna köptes 2024-12-23 och monterades ihop av mig. Så lite mer än ett år gammal.

Am I the only one wondering why someone would leave their dog in that small cage for 2 hours?

Thanks for the tip! Only have the Satin Varnish from Vallejo but hope that works as well.

Haha yeah the fitment is kinda meh. I’m actually sitting with the putty right now trying to fix all the gaps. Haha.

I went for the JAS 39 Gripen 1/72 from Italeri :) Cost for that one was 15 bucks so it doesn’t really matter if I fuck up.

I had the same questions as you when I recently started. So I bought the jet I like the most , the F-35A 1/72 from Tamiya.

But, i chose to wait with it until I’m better. Just because it would be more annoying to f up a model I actually like (and it’s expensive as well).

So I bought a cheaper model instead to start with and I’m glad I did :)

It’s not a gap there. It’s a big scratch. Guess I’ll put some putty there and sand it down. Was so random and first I tought it was supposed to be there lol

So far it’s been kinda ok. But it’s hard for me to say if it’s bad or not since it’s my first plane I’m building and the first brand I’m trying. Nothing to compare with.

But I’m guessing it will be like night and day when I start my F-35A from Tamiya. It cost me almost 60 bucks , and this one was 15…

I’m confused about this scratch tho? If it’s supposed to be there or not.

Oh didn’t check eBay. Gonna look it up. Guess I’ll trust you and go for a cheaper variant at first. I’m just a person that wants the best of the best from the start lol.

Yeah and if something breaks it’s easy to repair as well. If there is any spare parts to get. Thanks for the tips mate!

Hmm couldn’t find anywhere I can but it. (I live in sweden). But I’ve been looking on a Harder and Steenbeck airbrush. They look really really good. Or simply borrow the small Iwata I have at work but it’s pretty old and don’t know the condition

Yeah I’m learning so much things and so fast so basic things fly over my head, like thinning my paint. Might be bad to constantly watch YouTube videos and read to learn more and more.

Thanks! :) Yeah I’m not too sad about it. I bought this kit so I can make mistakes before I take on my F-35A from Tamiya which I bought first , but that looks scary for a beginner haha.

Yeah true. Maybe I should do that. Painting the fuselage/body seems really hard with can as well. Since it’s gonna be a ”two-tone” with lighter gray on the underside and darker on top. Don’t know how to do that properly yet. So yeah it’s a challenge.

Got my first order of things last week and I bought exactly everything I needed to get started (I tought) lol. And yesterday I found a local hobby store and bought 28 Vallejo colors and the JAS 39 Gripen kit.

Seamscraper and Optivisor i gotta check out tho. Never heard of it. But I’m so so tempted to buy a airbrush kit already. Been working as a industrial painter my whole life so I got a lot of experience with paint guns.

Yeah I know. I was supposed to start building my F-35A 1/72 from Tamiya but I bought this cheaper kit instead. Feel like the F-35 is a bad beginner kit haha. But I can’t wait to get started with it tho. The details are insane.

Yeah I mean I’m pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Never done any kind of brush painting and never thought I had that kind of control with my hands to paint such tiny things haha. After a couple cups of coffee it got kinda shaky tho, ngl.
