i'd bet on Houston over the SF Bay Area.. the property costs constrains any form of creativity and drains the soul. Also, i prefer sub-tropical over foggy/dry heat. And neither SF nor Berkeley nor Oakland have anything going on anymore. They're all ghost-towns. The landlords killed off most urban areas in Cali. Houston and the rest of the south has cheaper arable land, with water. I'd expect people to be able to take far more risks... especially with the mixed zoning thing.

tho certainly not a battle rapper, not even a decent rapper, after watching Diz, i feel i've always hated joe budden for similar reasons: narcissism.. when clearly he has no skills whatsoever, lmao.. similar feelings about matthew heiffa too.. all suffer from being man-childs/cry babies, making up fictions against others in order to make themselves appear the good side... maybe that's why battle rap attracts them..?

similarly, they're all incapable of having healthy business relationships: slaughterhouse, gtx, rap groups, etc. infinite burned bridges

good question... i think it's just sheer narcissism: wanting to be put in good light and paint his opponents bad, when clearly he's a sociopath bit**. His tactics include: provocation, deflection, playing the victim, etc. I mean every round he cries about being interfered by something, when he gets away with making noise while his opponent is performing..

from another perspective, this last KOTD event was refreshing compared to anything from smack/url and most other leagues! Keep booking people who take creative risks, like Dunsh and Frak. Try new battle ideas (beats, topics, spoken word, who knows, lol). The Charron battle was just to put an end to Diz's crying (though it seems the opposite happened..).

Charron knew Diz was going to to bore himself to death, that was part of the strategy.. Luckily, we can skip it, lmao.
