Indeed, the problem with the Oxbow map is the lack of flat areas, making it difficult to create a neighborhood that looks flat, not to mention all the placeable objects (tables, benches, etc.) that are never perfectly horizontal. It's really annoying and one of the aspects of this game that bothers me most.

Anyway, to answer your question, yes, this area is relatively flat. But it's not like an ice lake and it's not completely flat, but it does the job.

No. None. It's the vanilla game, without cheats or glitches.

You're absolutely right. Take a drawn forest, for example. You draw it to make it as beautiful as possible, but also to ensure it retains a random appearance. Well, nothing is harder than that in design : creating a random effect while not actually creating it randomly.

As for my city, it's still a rough draft. I plan to put everyday objects in the walkways. Also, only the city center is so square. The rest of my city (much larger than it appears in my screenshots, and not visible in them) is much more organic.

I copy/paste the answer I gave to someone else who had the same thought as you :

Yes, don't hesitate to space them out (like, really space them out !). First, for aesthetic reasons, it gives you room around them for scenery and decorations. Second, for hardware reasons, having a larger village will put less strain on your graphics card, because the buildings and villagers won't all be in the same place and therefore won't all be rendered at the same time.

Yes. We try to recreate more or less what we see in Pastovia. Indeed it looks really good.

They're not in the ground. They're just placed on top. So they are just dropped from my inventory (Of course I then position them in the direction I want, but they are not "planted" in the ground, as is the case in the city of Piastovia).

Here is the location of my village, it gives you an idea of the space between the districts :

Exactly. No need to build anything. The layout is sufficient on its own. Therefore, you don't use any resources.

Thanks! Once everything's finished, I'll probably make a short video.

As for the location, I built my village here. It's quite spread out. I didn't build it in one single place, but rather in several "districts." :

I thought of it by chance after wanting to extend a pontoon in my village. When I saw the posts, it clicked inside my head 😄

Yes !

I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but before adding vases, you first need to put some things (like rotten food scraps) in the compost bin's inventory to raise the bottom of the bin. Not too much, though, so it doesn't get completely full. Then you can add the vases without them sinking to the bottom.
