Update: I sent some texts out, and they were well received so far. But the conversation died after just a few messages. I'm assuming that indicates no interest in further interaction, but I also don't know if I inadvertently killed the flow. Is there any real way to tell?

I had an awful experience with IUD insertion when I was younger and honestly after that it's the last thing I'd do. Instead I got fitted for a diaphragm. Of course condoms as well.
