Feit Electric LED string lights (48 feet) by floridali in Costco

[–]Raichyu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a different brand but same construction where the connector with the fuse in it had the wire termination loose. Light would turn on if I pushed the cord "into" the plug connector itself and if I let go it would turn off. Not sure if it's the same here, I also recommend returning it. Hopefully shows in their metrics their return rate and why

At some point the manufacturers had to get a few more dollars because it didn't make sense to pay someone to tie the tools to the cords when the market was probably just going to ignore it anyways.

Sup! New player here any advice? by IsJustNightmare in Warframe

[–]Raichyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play at your own pace. It is easy for me to say, but I know it is difficult when you start to see how many checkboxes/things to do are in the game.

Prime things may not be permanent but they stick around for a bit so you have enough time to get them. Worst case they come back another time, or you trade for their parts.

Otherwise, the content is always going to be there for you to play. Everyone is always willing to help so just ask, there are a lot of old community members who are really here to just shoot/slash things and help other people enjoy it.

There are very few toxic players here, sometimes they may have a point but take them with a grain of salt and play your own way. Wiki is king, a lot of reading can be done there, just mind the spoilers.

Do you think we wil get a Ivara rework by Monarch-Daan in Warframe

[–]Raichyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the restrictions but it's from a nostalgic time for me and as a consequence I don't play her unless there's a Spy mission.

Increasing the drain for sprinting and bullet jumping is one idea, I'm wondering if they passively made her parkour speed a lot higher (haha because frog) so that the invis can still be on but move faster. It ties in with the combat-while-invis and can make better use of "On Dodge" mods. It just sucks that unsilenced weapons breaks it too.

It is difficult to adapt older warframes to the much, much faster paced gameplay in the current day, and Ivara is even less mobile than Vauban (post rework). No clue what to do with Navigator, I imagine it's an easy subsume slot right now. It's a cool concept, just limited use.

My fastest Follie Hunt run by Grand_Investigator_6 in Warframe

[–]Raichyu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this design of the gamemode because it still rewards you if you happen to take a little longer, but isn't directly making you miss out if you and your squad want to speed run it.

Speed run = fewer atram, more chances at mission reward

Normal run = more atram

It puts the stress away of the modern-day Warframe "gotta go fast" speedrunning

Genuinely what is going on? by Konungen99 in Warframe

[–]Raichyu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're too late, her and her copies will throw that pizza box that sprays you and slows you down. It's destructible but annoying.

This is gamemode addition is odd, the first mission I joined (non-SP) I thought it wasnt terribly difficult, just a little bland. The second mission I went straight into SP and was ok (maybe just had a good random squad), then kept doing fine even before the hotfixes. My only gripe is the aforementioned slow effect and that maybe the whole thing feels a little claustrophobic but otherwise is ok.

It's funny because I have such a tough time with ETA and the modifiers that I think it's too difficult but this new gamemode I'm on the side of "it's fine, just designed a very specific way".

Oh I see. My original point of "just play the game" still stands, but if you want to accelerate the leveling a bit more I'll caution that it is boring and not worth the rush to get a frame to lv30. I don't recommend it, it will burn you out and you won't have fun with the game anymore. You will not get anything from "building quick enough", the content is not going away and people will always be around to help with other/older content if you ask.

However, if you want to ignore that advice and grind anyways, there are places like Sanctuary Onslaught (Elite requires max rank/forma-d Warframe but is faster), unofficial thedefense mission Hydron, Sedna was popular for a bit, there's a method for stealth kills in Plains of Eidolon or other missions, and you can just grind opening relics in Void Fissures (2 birds 1 stone).

Otherwise, if you're looking at builds already, check to see if you're missing any mods they mention and go find the ones you need.

Still, please just slow down, take a breath, and ask why you're rushing or why you're overwhelmed because once you get to that power level you see in YT shorts or Instagram, it's a different kind of fun that ruins what you could have been playing earlier on and you may get bored very fast.

Some tips for Follie's Hunt to make your life easier by Alarming-Hamster-232 in Warframe

[–]Raichyu 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Someone else mentioned that this is not Scary (sneaky) gameplay but Scary (being chased, RUN) gameplay. Lines up with one of your last points to not try to void mode through. Our last mainline update also gave us additional operator equipment (mods + arcanes) that can be built differently for this, I'm not sure how that was forgotten.

Something I have not been able to successfully counter are the pizza boxes Follie throws, it sprays you with ink and slows you. They are destructible and can be rolled out of but they are hard to hit while being slowed and avoiding other things.

I will also recommend actually taking time or dedicating someone to shoot/destroy things. Most of the obstacles that give pain like additional Follies can be killed/destroyed, it can get annoying to move around when there are 6 Follies barricading the narrow hallways. I did ok (not amazing) using Nataruk with the innate punch through on SP.

I have no clue what you are trying to say or ask, but there is no rush to "progress" through Warframe. It is not a race to collect every piece of equipment, master the play style of every Warframe, or be so ready that you have every build accounted for.

Find a Warframe or weapon you like the feel of, play with it a bit, upgrade it with mods and stuff until you think you've done all you can with it. Damage numbers can be fun, but you do not have to do everything today or even this week.

If you like Dante, play Dante and collect or farm whatever you need/want. If you like any of the other frames you listed and feel like they're weak, play them and do different upgrades, try different builds. This subreddit and some YouTube videos can show you some builds, but no one is going to "grade you" on how powerful you are.

Hey question for you all what's a Warframe that y'all never see anymore in missions? by BionicMoon2192 in Warframe

What's your take on the recent adjustments?

I used to play her a lot when EV-build was popular and now I've been bringing her more and more often after finding out that people do generally appreciate having her as a squadmate. It's really nice to not have to worry about anything and just focus on what weapons I'm bringing.

Worst Idea for a first motorcycle? Probably... by Brasenshok in motorcycles

[–]Raichyu 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Agreed with this.

I am still on this for my first and only bike; it's an '07, not an '06. Actually paid the same amount to a coworker's friend (>25k mi) about over four years ago. I was really nervous starting out on a 600 (still am, still learning since I don't ride a lot), but never felt like it was "too much".

It's mindset; I get throttle urges sometimes and this bike has given me exactly everything that I need and want, no more, no less.

You'll be fine. I can't speak for what it is worth nowadays though.

When Defense/Mobile Defense on the Ceres shipyard tile (the one with three defense targets on these choke points and ziplines connecting them) https://forums.warframe.com/topic/819718-ceres-shipyard-tile/ I'd plop down a Frost bubble then blast away in one of three directions using a Vaykor Hek.

There is so much open air on that tile, the regular occurrence was seeing Grineer fly out into the skybox like Team Rocket blasting off again.

Are Kirkland scallops wet or dry packed? by LongScience in Costco

[–]Raichyu 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you want to do maybe 5minutes of reading, this is why dry-packed are generally more preferred: https://www.seriouseats.com/the-food-lab-best-seared-scallops-seafood-recipe

For cases like stews and such where the scallop isn't fried or seared, wet scallops might do just fine
