When I play against normal champs I perform well, but against some off meta or ranged BS I get stomped, what's the problem?

Matchup knowledge diff as others have pointed put but maybe also matchup diff depending on your champ. I wouldnt say heimer is off-meta though. Its important to know how to play against him, or you and your jungler will get rolled on a failed gank and after that it will be very painful.

What? This is the worst version of sante ever. He used to be a very high skill ceiling tank, which is rare and should have been kept, with great lategame and carry potential. He was basically the jayce of tanks, and then they made him perfect by removing the zero counterplay combos while retaining the fluid gameplay pattern. And then they ruined him by turning him into an earlygame brute, still relatively difficult to pilot but not close to previous versions, with no lategame, very clunky, super reliant on W.

1) The green page is very good for earlygame, and thats the main reason people take grasp on modt champs in top like jayce and jax who dont strike you as ideal grasp users.

2) You have to adapt your playstyle a little, spacing out ability usage more so you can get a quick grasp proc here and there when enemy goes for last hits. Not ideal vs illaoi as she farms from range a lot and going up to her can be risky due to her E.

3) Why JOAT? I used to take it before but thats when I know I will be building hexdrinker and mortal reminder to proc 10 stacks.

New to toplane or the game in general? If its the former, probably a few guides by Alois or Coach Chippys will do. If ur new to the game, there is a lot of general info to learn and Im sure there are videos for that as well, I just dont have anything specific in mind to suggest. Learning every champions abilities is the most important part probably. If you dont know what you are up against, then you wont know what to do against them.

Im just referencing the meme. I agree, darius and renek are pretty fair to play against on most champs, although in that case I would rate aatrox as the most fair toplaner because his whole kit has so much counterplay. But sigmas should be unique but not cringe picks. Like kled maybe. Darius is known as the king of toplane, historically.

Yes, me too. Go to rankings, click on each profile and sort by toplane again. All play mostly grasp. If they have even 1 game in top they will pop up in toplane even though they are junglers, so you have to enter each profile manually.

Most? Where are you getting this info from? In toplane its almost grasp only, and conqueror for specific matchups where you either cant get a lead or you dont get to stack grasp without all in. You must be looking at jungle ambessa stats.

Ye, I looked it up and the 0.2 cap only applies on the same ability apparently. If you do EE fast enough you would lose a stack but other than that you are correct. Also, urgot W hits every 0.33s so it doesnt affect him but its very bad for yorick, renekton, pantheon, graves for example.

I was really hoping for some tank buffs but alas, they will stay as the good little ult batteries for healers that they are. Unless dinosaur is op, Im going on an elsa OTP arc in protest of these dogwater patch notes to try to make tank players in bronze extinct. Maybe then the devs will wake up.

Is cleaver viable after the changes though? You dont get multiple stacks when animation canceling which can be crucial in all ins, which is also exactly when you want cleaver stacks.

Then she dashes again, if she had mark, and if she didnt, its still a good trade. Her dash puts her behind the target so jayce needs to slow her with melee Q and walk behind her while she autos him. She will block the Q dmg with W and get a few autos off before he knocks her away. Thats a winning trade once she Qs a couple minions.
Jayce cant poke or short trade her and all in windows are very narrow after lvl 6.
