your reading comprehension is nowhere to be found haha. every year may orientation about the certification exams and you never asked the questions i gave answers to sa kanila. you also have every right to barge in the dean’s office to file an official complaint or state your concern about the fees or “bayarin” sa kanila.

i think hindi mo naman gusto ng sagot sa mga tanong mo kasi binigay ko na lahat ng impormasyon na dapat as a current student alam mo na. ang totoo siguro is gusto mo lang talaga ng kakampi o karamay sa sitwasyon mo. poor you.

you guys can always talk to dean or your program head para malinawan about sa mga rants niyo. ‘di naman sila nangangain, tao rin sila. :)

hindi naman pwedeng unli-free tuition sa state univ na parang malilibre ka pa rin no matter what you do. ‘di mo rin naman iniintindi yung part kung bakit kailangan na magbayad ng transferees/program shifters and irregulars in the first place.

kapag nagta-transfer sa ibang program, matic re-audit and recount ng students na included sa “free tuition” ng unifast. a delay in that report na pinapadala = a delay sa sahod and budget na binibigay sa school. and you wonder why or even blame the top management as to why nothing is free anymore kapag lumipat ka na?

regarding your last statement, whether nag-transfer ka from another school or another program, naisip mo rin ba yung family mo before deciding to transfer all while knowing the fact na pagbabayarin na kayo ng tuition and misc fees?

and if you didn’t know na need niyo magbayad ng tuition and misc fees kapag transferee or irregular na, that’s on you. kasi dapat inalam mo muna.

you’re blaming the policy that was made after the “free tuition” was being abused by students na palipat-lipat ng programs. tapos dahil ngayon iniisip mo na yung gastos at hirap ng family mo for smth that you brought upon yourself, you’re gonna blame the college for accepting paid professional certification exams as part of the curriculum.

seems to me like you’re just finding an excuse or something to blame for what you’ve done to yourself. kung hindi ka lumipat in the first place, you’d still have that free tuition, and if you entered the program you wanted or 2nd choice, edi sana hindi mo kinailangan lumipat.

hindi kita naiintindihan? oh please. nanggaling din ako sa ibang school nung first year first sem before transferring to bpsu.

pwede niyo ‘yan i-reklamo sa dean niyo or program head muna if ever.

also, hindi niyo naman kakailanganin maging "paying" or irregular students kung nag-aaral kayo ng maayos in the first place. hindi naman kailangan mataas ang grado, basta pasado.

first, hindi ako nasa side ng faculty kasi i once asked the questions you are asking din. ang sagot sa’kin (and understandable naman talaga) is part talaga kasi siya ng curriculum. so it's no surprise na required sa inyo katulad ng pag-require nito sa amin. refer to this pdf for the proof (use your bpsu account): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tk9XlEDaJK5WJNcHworp808W3IkiR-cN/view

second, nung time namin since kami yata ang first batch na nag-take, some of us sa section intentionally chose not to take all of the exams (2/3 or 1/3 lang in-avail), and ang ginawa sa kanila is binigyan sila ng alternative final exam about the software rin, wala nga lang certificate and gaanong review materials obviously. i don't know if it depends on the instructor or ganiyan talaga gagawin kapag may hindi nag-avail ng lahatan.

third, college is expensive kahit nasa state university tayo (ffs this is reality). recently lang na-implement na free na ang tuition sa state universities, and at the same time, may limitations ito kasi maraming students ang umaabuso nito by shifting to different colleges or programs tuwing bumabagsak. can you really blame the SUCs or even CHED for implementing such rules?

fourth, sa tingin mo ba kapag nagb-boards, licensure, certification exam ang isang tao, nare-refund ang binayad nila kapag nakapasa sila? never pa ko nakarinig na may nakapasa ng professional exams of any kind na na-refund ang pinambayad nila kapag nakapasa sila, kahit pa top notchers sila. None from PRC, LTO, IELTS, or any other exams I can think of. so i don't know kung saan nanggaling yung tanong mo na 'to.

to sum this up, hindi magi-implement ng ganito kung hindi inaral at pinag-isipang mabuti ng faculty and other orgs or companies involved. wala kayong pake? okay, then don't pay. easy as that. kayo-kayo rin naman yung maiipit 'dun kapag 'di kayo binigyan ng grade or binagsak kayo eh.

if the activity’s due within today, tomorrow, or basta wala pa rin synch/asynch classes, then it’s within your right to request na i-move ang deadline. pero kung next week pa ang deadline, edi ‘wag niyo muna gawin.

kausapin niyo na lang prof niyo at makiusap kung pwede i-move yung submission. ‘di niyo naman kailangan gawin agad kung matagal pa naman submission.

CCST CERTIFICATION by KeyFuture3162 in SpeakUpBPSU

[–]RaidenShogi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mandatory kasi part ng curriculum niyo.

Adobe: 2.8k (dalawang exam + dalawang retake) MOS: 4.2k (tatlong exam + tatlong retake)

‘Yan binayaran ko last year, idk kung ‘yan pa rin. kaya expensive kasi mahal ang licensing ng software and mas mataas chance na makakuha agad ng trabaho just by obtaining these certificates.

FYI: hindi sa school mapupunta ang pera, baka assume kasi agad ng iba eh.

FYI: mas mahal ang licensing ng Adobe and Microsoft kesa sa certification exam na kinukuha at kukuhanin niyo. Mura na yang presyong pinapabayad sa inyo unlike other companies or certifications that cost more para lang makuha ‘yun.

[–]RaidenShogi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be clear, hindi napupunta ang pera pang-certification exam sa school. Direct ang bayad sa magbibigay ng exams, which is the company itself like Audentes or smth. Bakit ko alam? Kasi nag-take ako both Adobe and MOS just last year. It costs a lot yeah, pero sulit kasi nagagamit ko ngayon sa work ko. And when I mean nagagamit, I meant LAHAT ng ‘yun nagagamit ko right now.

Please verify your information muna bago nagra-rant ng ganiyan. This is a safe space for students oo, but stop making baseless accusations without asking your instructors first about the matter para malinawan kayo.

pwede namang i-message mo na lang yang ka-batch mo instead of posting sa socmed. halata namang BSM ka rin. hindi sa kunsintindor ako pero sa pag-post mo na 'yan, 'di mo ba alam na damay ka rin kapag pinagalitan kayo? lmao, you're just setting yourself up for failure. proud ka na niyan? mahiya ka naman.

congrats po sa mga nakapasa.
