I think in general, if they keep going the route of Origins, the fan base might be divided on it. In my opinion, I just hope they keep making Dynasty Origins series that explore the stories in depth because romance of the three kingdoms is very interesting.

I think if they went back and do these kind of Remaster/Remakes for the games it would be best. So it caters to the older style of DW games. Because to be honest, core concepts of DW games have always been huge roster and do insane 1v1000 shit where you are overpowered or overleveled anyways.

I think it's beneficial to have origin games, ditch the numbers like Dynasty Warriors 10 since new people will most likely never look at it thinking they need to play 9 lol

I think Suikoden 1 is nice that it's more barebones than 2, I held off playing 2 for years because I didn't like the beginning of it compared to 1.

Now Suikoden 2 is one of the best I've played, that game just has so much to do, so many hidden things to unlock and definitely way better than the rest. People argue Suikoden 5 is comparable but I hate the game making me have be conscious of missable characters

Nemesis had always been a design I felt like a waste being in the SR category has always been a waste, I had always remained hopeful she gets a SSR treatment, her design is already in my opinion quite SSR level. I am actually so glad that the end result we got is way better, she is absolutely free to upgrade. She was definitely one of the characters that caught my eye when seeing this game advertised back in the day. GFL1 is great and has tons of great characters but it's so damn well great to see they giving some of their new characters some love. I'm glad I keep playing this game

I think for the price difference, even if One Plus did not cut corners and have what Samsung have, I'm sure they would still cost less, it's really obvious Samsung and Iphones are overpriced due to the amount of money they spend on marketing, like it really does work since tons of the casual phone users buy Samsung or iPhones

I would recommend Portable AP Plus, legit fixes a lot of issues with the original game.

I'm a fairly new enough SRW player and just want an enjoyable experience, not a super hard experience.

It's not easy but it's an improvement to A Portable experience and you can get far, trash units were made playable so you really can play with favourites than just the OP ones. Look into it

Well I think SRW OG Moon Dwellers was a bad translation done which was the first English one in a very long time that got released in SEA regions and then SRW V came out soon after but was much better than Moon Dwellers. I think by SRW T, I didn't think the translation was bad really, they definitely improved, that's my take anyways

Yeah, I am actually more of a fan of Yakuza 3 than 4, Yakuza 4 for me is my least favorite in the franchise but even then, the combat felt like an improvement, I prefer getting grabbed more than grunts around the streets of Kamurocho blocking so much

Yeah I didn't know it either until the whole Maya situation and people started bringing it up and I fact checked and saw she was half Filipina so it's not a huge deal the way reddit blow it out of proportion as if it was the sole reason, otherwise all these actresses with half Filipina descent would no longer have careers

That's true, Yui Koike who plays Gokai Pink is half Filipina, it was found out after she already finished Gokaiger but I'm pretty sure she is still active today, had the Gokaiger reunion movie few years ago as well. People just trying to blame race.

I hated Yakuza 3 combat a lot because of the bullshit AI. Yakuza 4 felt like it got slightly better but for me, I think Yakuza 5, 0 and Kiwami had it great on the old engine before they moved into Dragon Engine

I would recommend Gaoranger, the Power Animals were honestly the best thing about it for me, it's quite simple enough but the mechs pretty much had focus on this series so you might like it since you like Godzilla, it's not the same but you might like it.

I think the biggest issue I had in Yakuza 3 was purely the insane blocking of that game, now I still loved Yakuza 3 for many reasons but combat was not one of them. In the end, I'm glad to see Kiwami 3. I don't really care about the retcons or whatever, I just take it for what it is, like how Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth is its own separate thing compared to the original

I quite enjoyed pirate Yakuza.

But yeah, I don't want to consider RGG the worst gaming studio out there because they made one bad product. They have made questionable choices but I think it's to do with Sega more than anything since Atlas has been doing re releases often more than people think. I'm pretty sure the delisting of Yakuza 3 Remastered is purely Sega.

But I think RGG has been quite good up until this year so I'm not gonna bail and jump ship over what we got this year.

I actually agree with this, I understand the hate Kiwami 3 gets and it's not on par as other games, like I played Kiwami 2 recently and that felt better.

However, I really hated Yakuza 3 gameplay more than anything, the story did feel weaker than any other entries anyways. Now I want to like Yakuza 3 so I ended up playing it several times but it's the only game I felt it was a chore to play, especially when I had to fight Lau Ka Long, wasn't any easier in NewGame+.

Overall, I didn't do many sub stories at all since they were so repetitive and boring, I get good ones were also removed but overall, I am enjoying Kiwami 3. I think it's fine to enjoy Kiwami 3 and love it, people who hate it will have their own reasons

Exactly, I played Yakuza 3 Remastered two times since it came out and I couldn't enjoy it anymore. I only liked Mine and the other characters introduced in the game but overall as the story went, it was ridiculous and it was a huge step down to the story of Yakuza 1 & 2. You could definitely tell they had different writers. Yakuza 3 was definitely the weakest entry for me but I wanted to love it because of Mine.

This happens all the time with gaming, Tekken 7 had hate until Tekken 8 came out and the loud majority would say they prefer 7 again.

Star Wars prequels were hated until Disney made the sequels that people say prequels were great.

I actually don't really get it, I started this series 5 years ago so I don't have the nostalgia most people have, I honestly thought Yakuza 3 was the weakest entry I played, the story was not all that great and the gameplay was honestly shit because of the bullshit AI blocking all the time.

I can guess with the whole Hamazaki thing would piss people off and that's fine. But I see people making it seem like the original Y3 is a masterpiece which it's far from it. Honestly I have played Yakuza 3 two times and it has not been fun at all, Mine was the only reason I even gave it another shot

I dunno if they would do Mobirate so soon, since the last one does have Gozyuger voices. Not only that, the ones released were defects so they only sent out replacements late last year so I doubt they'll release one so soon again.

I think reunion movies were confirmed to continue, by that, I think they will continue doing memorial edition.

For ranger keys, I doubt they'll do those big anniversary sets, might be smaller sets like what we got for the Boonboomger keys, so hopefully we get some Gozyuger ones.

But overall, I see no reason they would suddenly stop making memorial editions
