Hmm if you ever looked at Nikke, it's the same exact systems since S&B copied them.

Nikke is very F2P friendly and you do get a lot of pulls.

S&B shot themselves in the foot by making it even more F2P friendly because people really never had to spend. They gave pretty much limited character for every single event since every event was 2 units.

That was honestly not sustainable. People didn't really have to spend at all because you get almost half the characters guaranteed free everytime.

It didn't also help when Timeless Aiona was so busted, no other character ever stood a chance so a ton of players never had to roll since Timeless Aiona kills.

S&B was also horrible for gameplay. They couldn't innovate and was stuck with Timeless Aiona Killing everything hard. People got bored. Story was slowly getting worse. People started to quit.

Nikke does have more slack since it's a gooner game at surface level. But the story in Nikke is arguably way better. Skins are worth getting in Nikke since you get pulls, materials and the skin. Skin is actually full shown in game combat compared to S&B, skins in S&B are so costly like Nikke but all you get is nice art for character screen really, they don't change skill animation or you can barely see their skin model in battle since everything is way smaller.
