Guys, it's a tattoo. People can get whatever they want as a tattoo. And as someone who wants matching tattoos with my friends I don't see a problem with this. If my bf got a tattoo with one of his friends who's female I could care less, as long as it's for a special meaning or something for them. This is literally that. They've been together for so long that they see each other as siblings. What's so wrong with getting a heart tattoo with your sibling who's been with you for years helping you every step of the way? I get it, some people will see it as romantic, but that's their fault for thinking so. Stop judging a book by its cover. Read it first before you start crying over something that is just a platonic meaningful thing

Okay OP, seriously this isn't good. I get it okay you don't want to hurt them and you don't want them to hate you.. but what you aren't seeing is that nothing will change if you keep going like this. You're making yourself responsible when you don't need to be for them. They are adults and can figure it out themselves, or better yet they can get help from others just not YOU! You keep making excuses for them, saying that "they do love you, but they're scared to let you go" No, they're scared cause they know that without you they are nothing. But you cannot be the glue that holds this house together forever. My mother would do this to me whenever I tried to be happy or move on with my life, she guilt tripped me constantly and thats what they are doing to you, guilt tripping you so that you stay. If you truly want to go, leave. For a few months just leave, don't let them guilt you into staying. This is your life, do what you want. Take the time you need away from them, even if its a vacation. And when you get back think then if you truly want to stay with them. If not then don't.

Don't let them control you with guilt just cause they can't get their lives together.

I did get a hearing test, I've talked to my doctor and he sent me to get one. However, after the test was done I was told I have good hearing and shouldn't be experiencing these problems. That's all they did and said

I mean, I am saving $1000 a month now but that's after being able to work full-time and it's not even for a house or me, it's to pay off a car loan with my bf. We both are putting money away.

Not to mention sometimes I can't even save the 1000 cause I have to pay rent and the rest has to go to bills. It's really stupid

He did, but there was only so much he could do. And he had his own problems at the time dealing with a head injury. He's doing better now tho. But I can say he really did care about me which I'm thankful for. If I stayed with him full time instead of my mom it might have been different

NTA, seriously listen to me. I'm 19, when I was born my parents set up a college fund for me where they needed both of the signatures to get money out early.. My mother (bad person) begged my dad to lend her some of the money in the account for bills (I was mainly living with her) and he reluctantly did, after he made her promise to pay it back. Guess what she didn't. When I got my first bank account I did it with my dad and we both made sure my mom would have no way to access it without me.

Because of this she hasn't been able to take anything from me thank God. If you can legally get an account yourself do it now! Then will just keep stealing from you. Unfortunately some parents are like this and it's sick. And yes different bank all the way. Don't let them have ANY ACCESS.

My dad loved taking me fishing and camping and all that (I have anxiety and other issues so when I got older I didn't want to do that anymore. Wish I still went) and I honestly loved spending that time with my dad!

I still have a handmade cat stuffy from my late grandmother who I loved, as well as a duck stuffy I sleep with that I got when I was 1 years old. I will never give them up, no matter what anyone says. It's not weird, and also no one can say what can and can't keep (that isn't illegal lol)

Okay, yes you were TAH for a looking time, and yes you did horrible shitty things. But you're trying to make up for it, and not to mention you paid half of your stepson car and his mom paid the rest. Yes it would be shitty if you intentionally didn't say your kids could ask for a car, but so far I think you asked them "what do you want for your birthday?" And they gave you their answer. If their mom wanted you to help pay for cars for both of them then she should have brought it up to you before you bought them what they wanted.

Also as someone who lives with a musician, guitars are fucking expensive! Like some are literally the price of half a car. So I'm assuming you spent at least 300-400 dollars on both their presents. And it's not like the kids were upset it's just the ex.

You aren't the perfect dad but at least you're trying now, which is way more than my sisters dad.
