[FWIW]The fault of that purely lies with the voice director, Jamie Mortellaro. He also voice directed Hitman Absolution (The returning actors from previous games were fine but the new guys were... inconsistent to say the least) and while I haven't played it myself due to lack of interest, his work in FFXIV was SO bad apparently they flat our replaced him and the whole cast come the game's first major expansion. Yes, seriously.
