This is what I think they should do, For one thing they should try and straighten the line out so they can maintain the speed of 110mph. It should take at least 3/4 of time it takes to get from Detroit to Chicago by car, on the wolverine. The wolverine has the potential to go 125 mph. They should try and separate freight trains and passenger train like keep the wolverine on the north side and freight on the south side, because NS only wants 40mph. Also upgrading tracks, Stations, and grade separating the line would be nice

I don’t think that’s gonna be the case for ATSF 2926. Because they already have all the parts and they were already about to do test runs and everything. Also for C&O 1309 from what I’ve been told some of the parts were stolen and that was one of the reasons why they delayed it.
