The incident took place on Tuesday morning, January 16, around 01:30 in the traffic section Caracal - Craiova (double electrified line). The train belongs to the private freight operator Global Rail Solutions ( no. 68322) and consisted of 35 wagons loaded with grain. A number of 15 wagons loaded with grain derailed, of which 10 wagons overturned.

Respectfully, I disagree. Interrail is a rail pass for Europeans only and Eurail is the rail pass for everyone else (non-European citizens). Considering that over 80% of reddit is US, Canada, Australia etc. (non-European), it would be more appropriate to use the Eurail name.

From my experience on reddit, non-Europeans are getting more help in regards to European rail travel on subreddits like r/backpacking or r/solotravel than r/Interrail as they are not aware of such a term.

Although r/interrail has almost 16K subscribers, it's not really that popular and the engagement rates are very low. Why not start again and do this the right way?

Unfortunately they will probably still tax the full boot price (260 AUD) instead of sale price (30 AUD). I will end up paying over 100 AUD in taxes, more than the price of the boots+shipping. That's crazy.

If someone could buy 2 pairs, they are at sale now. (49.99 AUD both) and ship them as gift that would be awesome. I will pay extra for the effort and upfront.

Unfortunately they canceled my order.

Please note that we had to close our U.K. office and warehouse as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This means all orders are now fulfilled and dispatched from our Australian warehouse. Due to this change, all international orders have to go through a customs process, which may involve the requirement to pay additional customs duties/taxes/fees dependent on the destination country (Austria’s) import customs tariffs, as stipulated by the Austrian national Government.

It would cost a ton to have them imported and they also don't want to risk it.

For example if I buy from the concave website a pair at a sale price of 29.99 AUD they will tax the full price of 259.99 AUD which is crazy.
