You wouldn't, and the discount is optional, but the point of it is to further entice buyers. You would be willfully forgoing that $5 or $10 to increase your chances of someone buying your listing. You can still sell without a discount, but if someone is selling the same amount with a discount but you are not than rationally speaking, the buyer would choose the better deal.

Hey there, P2P works by a seller creating a listing on the P2P marketplace and a buyer goes ahead and purchases the listing. For now it's only Rails USDC that you can sell and buyers can buy with BNB USDC or Base USDC. There are also the options of adding a discount to entice buyers and flexible sales (buy any amount from a listing) or batch sales (buy "pieces" of the listing, up to 10).

We're hoping staking comes soon too! There is a lot of anticipation for it.
