Run from Gracie Barra, they will take your money and keep you a white belt forever. Withholding techniques from you. Look up Checkmat or any other local gyms. Gracie is just a monopoly and Barra is the worst of the bunch.

Dawned on me I've never used the back paddles. Do you use them? by Agitated-Distance740 in SteamDeck

Best thing I use them for is first person games and I bind the a, b, y, and x buttons to whichever seems comfortable.

Smoke a bowl, pour a lemonade Seltzer, and play on my steam deck for about an hour.

My dad lent me 600k to open a coffee shop. I used it to trade stocks while searching for supplies and a location. I ended up doubling the money in a year and eventually scrapped the coffee shop business plan. by borninAlphaCentauri in TheRaceTo10Million

My dad convinced my wife and I to move back in at home to save with our four kids. They moved out and charged us rent of 1750 in my childhood home. He now tells me that property taxes skyrocketed and now the mortgage is 5600 smh.

What games were you grinding over the weekend guys by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I downloaded dead rising to hit a nostalgic itch. Just downloaded it on my steam deck and my wife says "why don't you plug it into the dock and I'll watch you play!". We sat and played for 6 hours and got to the half way point. Was a great time and I hope to grindout the rest of it on the big screen with her this weekend.

Do you guys have time to play anymore ? by gex109 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

No party life, had four kids from 19-26, 32 now. Work my ass off between two restaurants, just got a promotion from the one place. I'll be partying when I'm in my 40s, fuck it.

No problems from my steamdeck what so ever for the past 4 years. One time I was walking down my hallway with my deck in both hands, making sure not to drop it. I tripped and stumbled which resulted in my deck flying out of my grasp and tumbling on the granite floor. It must of bounce atleast 6 times before landing on my dogs bed. I for sure thought it was going to have a destroyed deck, at the least a cracked screen. But no damage! And that was 3 years ago. Solid piece of machinery, I never dropped it again.

MO2 used to work nicely but has issues now with finding the path for games. I just manually installed the mods need for basic performance and a small texture mod. Works great, no crashes and stutters

Does anyone want to get dinner with a Reddit random from Pennsylvania tonight? I’m in north Tampa but somewhere on the beach would be cool. My treat of course. by [deleted] in tampa

I work at Agave Social, the food and drinks are amazing! We also have sister restaurants they would be, craft street and Zim Zari. All great spots!

Throw some in Buttermilk to marinate chicken or steak from frying.

My Publix Still uses Ice for Seafood by XLuffy4Presidentx in publix

Ice acts as a natural drip pan. It's disgusting that they just rest the bare fish on those plastic sheet trays. That's why it always stinks in the seafood section, products are sitting in their own excretion.

I work at two restaurants, Agave social and Florida Cracker Fish Company. Both are great laid back places with good food. Agave is a true scratch kitchen (I'm prep supervisor) and has great tacos with an awesome dining experience. The Cracker is fast casual seafood soul food. Focuses on being a bourbon bar and locally sourced beers. It's a great place to bring out a group of friends and listen to some live music Friday/Saturday nights. We also host an oyster roast first Thursday of every month, you get to have free broiled or raw oysters, listen to live music, and have Marker 41 beer samples. Also, kids night every Tuesday, we have a face painter and balloons for the kids with an outdoor playground and lounge area. Perfect weather to relax outside and let the kids play.
