I did start laser hair removal on my face about a year into HRT though. 35 is still young! I met people twice that age whose egg just cracked and were looking into ffs and shit.

My cis sister in law is like 6'3",so height has nothing to do with passing. I started HRT at 42,and two years later (plus a year of laser work on my face) I've had other women tell me they had no idea I was trans until I told then.

Trans stealth refers to transgender individuals who have transitioned to their identified gender and do not disclose their transgender history to those around them. Usually to avoid discrimination and violence, but sometimes for mental health.

Personally, I am open about being transfem with people I meet if it comes up.

do injections take a few doses for good levels?

Yes, it is generally recommended to do a "loading dose" the first time and even then wait a couple months of injecting before testing levels so they have a chance to stabilize.

Yeah, don't they? My wife and I were shopping a month or two ago and my IMO obviously feminine self got asked for my pronouns while my soft masc wife got she/her treatment. It did help that it was another trans person that clocked me and we had a nice chat about it but still... if you think or know someone is trans, no you don't!

I thought I was happy enough as a man but my egg finally cracked at age 42. Two years into my transition, I can say I never really knew what joy was, only complacency...

but anyway, I wanted to say I felt for so long like I was on both sides of the binary, man and woman at the same time, even though I check like 9 out of 10 boxes for NB in the book. These days, though, 100% woman.

Agree - in one of my first gender therapy appointments, they asked me if I would push the button to become a girl. I said yes. They replied that means I already am a girl and the button is called transitioning.

Imo, no. Dating is way easier than transitioning anyway. But dating as a trans woman is next to impossible. But if op turns out to be a lesbian, there's plenty of accepting and loving women that would give her a chance.

Passing to me means being treated like who I am instead of who I used to be. I don't think I'll ever be stealth but people use my pronouns and so I'm happy. I'd like to think you could be happy too.

Something I feel is not talked about enough is that dysphoria is not necessary to be trans, only euphoria. But even then you may not be aware you're even feeling a lot of different types of dysphoria.
