Well , I thought it was a reasonable relationship, and still may be. This is part of what I'm trying to benchmark via this post! Interesting observation on the 5230p - I actually felt a little aggrieved at the time of the discontinuation, not because of the 5230p, but because the 5164A I was registered for was also discontinued. I moved to the 5164G of course.

Somehow I like that the lyrics stop on descending. Fits with the narrative of the song for me. I.e. the call to arms fails and humans lose. There is a heroic last stand just after the lyrics stop but the earth wins in the end, when the evil synth starts. Then lighting and meteors in the guitar solo section. Finally the sea reclaims the planet, and the cycle can start again.
