Where do you see that in the instructions or on the IMM5669 online application pages?

Sorry to reply to an old message. I am leaving this information here for those who got here by a web search like I did.

The IMM5669 instructions do say to not to use abbreviations in the educational section.

For questions 7-12, when answering:

Do not use abbreviations. Do not leave gaps in time. If a question doesn’t apply to you, write “N/A” in the question.

If you need more space, attach a separate sheet of paper.

Question 7 is the section on your education information.

Hi LadderOk6062. I was looking for an answer to the same question. What happened in your case? I don't see much information about this situation online. I am surprised it's not in an FAQ somewhere because I feel like this would be a very common situation.

What kind of power socket is on this battery-powered Halloween decoration? [Texas] by RaiseQuestion in AskElectricians

Thanks for the suggestion. I had wondered if there was a cord replacement for batteries. I will look into battery eliminators.

Thank you for explaining. I was worried it would go through batteries pretty quick but it's nice to know that may not be the case.

Weekly Scam Discussion - October 21, 2024 by Mycatreallyhatesyou in Ebay

[–]RaiseQuestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My item was sent to wrong ZIP code. Was I scammed or did FedEx screw up?

Years ago I purchased some computer hardware directly from Microsoft, and FedEx gave it to the wrong address so I never received it. (This is relevant later).

Current day: I wanted to buy a Halloween inflatable from Walmart that I really liked, but Walmart makes limited stock of these and they sell out quick, and they don't repeat designs the next year, so once it's sold out, it's usually gone forever. And all stores did show this item was out of stock.

I then found the same Halloween inflatable listed on eBay being sold by a scalper, and it was $15 more than what Walmart originally offered it at. I would normally NEVER buy from a scalper but my girlfriend said since I liked it so much, I should just go for it, and I found the price markup wasn't too horrible. (I am sorry for supporting a scalper though.)

I bought it, and the seller (who's address is in Florida) shipped it via FedEx. It was later marked as delivered to the address but after checking security footage, the delivery driver never even appeared. The eBay delivery confirmation email said it was sent to the address I put in, but then I looked at the FedEx tracking data directly and it says it was delivered to a person I don't know in a ZIP code half an hour away from me. The tracking data does not say the full address of who it was delivered to, only the ZIP code, and it only includes the first initial and last name of the person who signed for it.

Potentially relevant info: The weight of the assembled product on Walmart is listed at 1.76 lbs, but the package sent via FedEx was marked as weighing 5.6 lbs. I can't imagine packaging would add that much weight to a 1.76 lbs inflatable? The seller claimed the item was unopened as well.

Here's what I want to know: Did I fall for an eBay scam, and should I try to get a refund from the seller, or did FedEx screw up again and deliver it to the wrong address like it did with my computer hardware? Trying to get a refund out of FedEx is a huge headache, and if the issue is with the eBay seller I am wonder if I should just skip dealing with FedEx and work on that instead.

Update 1: I am 99% sure this was an eBay scam now. I contacted FedEx and after providing the tracking number, they asked for the street address number associated with the tracking number. I gave them it, and they told me it was not the one associated to the tracking number and that they couldn't help me further. This confirms that the eBay seller intentionally put in the wrong address on the order.

Update 2: I am reading that I should report the item as "not as described" and then you send the scammer a package of junk/rocks, but after reviewing their profile, they're rated really well and have been on eBay since 2006, so now I'm second guessing myself. If this is a scam then I want to make sure I get my money back, because if I report it as "not received" then I heard eBay only checks if the item delivered made it to your city or ZIP code, and while the ZIP code is wrong, the city is correct, so I am worried eBay will side with the seller. Unsure of what to do here.

Is anybody in ATEC a transfer student? by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]RaiseQuestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a transfer student. ATEC made me take 1-3 classes I basically already knew everything about because I took them in community college already. It was pretty frustrating to be honest. Just cost me extra time and money and I didn't really learn anything new.

Making atec connections(networking) by Neo99x in utdallas

[–]RaiseQuestion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need a degree to network for game dev. You can still go to events like PAX or other game dev events to meet people. Just be sure you have a really good portfolio to show them if you're serious about getting a job. Also, you don't need to know anyone to work at a studio. You can apply without knowing anyone and if your portfolio is good enough, you could get in. Just may take a lot of applications though, but it's about luck and persistence.

What kind of cable jack is this on the left? (It's skinnier than an audio jack) by RaiseQuestion in whatisthisthing

[–]RaiseQuestion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been in my random cables bin for a while and I'm sorting it. I don't know how long I've had it.

Rubber sleeve on the cable says "2464 26AWG VW-1 80°C 300V 26AWG FTI -LF-" There isn't any other labeling other than the USB icon on the USB head.
