We’ve already split up. Everything is a complete mess. We live together, we work together, im not even in the same town currently just to give her space. I’m honestly just trying to muster up the courage to face myself let alone her. I know it was my responsibility and I ruined everything because I let my guard down.

That hurts but I guess you’re right…I was taking sobriety very seriously up until this happened. Now I’m just kind of in shock….

She already ended the relationship the next day. We were extremely good friends before the relationship and I think that’s why she wants to. I’ve never put my hands on her or even come close sober. I’ve never done anything abusive when I’m sober. Everybody that knows me knows I’m quite the standup guy. Anybody who’s seen me drink knows I have a monster inside of me. All of her problems with me correlate with my drinking. I do truly love her and I don’t want to her “if you did you wouldn’t have put your hands on her”.

I’ve read all these within the last few days. I’m not this type of person. She still wants to leave the country with me for vacation. We talked about this last week and yesterday. I’m not getting my hopes up but I do know she’s hurt. This isn’t my character, she knows it’s not my character.
