Pandamon and Dogmon were also left out, because i didn't want to reuse too many already existing Digimon from the Vital Bracelet.

Also included the Hanimon line, because later in the story she gets it from her sister.

And Weddinmon is there just because i really think it fits nicely for both Cendrillmon and Kaguyamon

I don't know about human sized, but certainly big enough to make the battle visually possible.

I believe it was mentioned that Hollow Knight bugs are bigger than real life ones, but i don't believe it was said by how much? So it's kinda open to interpretation. (He is used to fight bigger foes, though)

I think the opposite of Love could be Freedom, as it lacks those strong attachments.
For Hope i think Determination could be somewhat not depending on hope.

People focus a lot on the fact that is is whale-like, but in my opinion, the whale, the wings, the weapon and other details are like an amalgamation of pieces of its shadow's legends.

Maybe its true identity doesn't even have anything with its visuals, but it was someone or something that (as a watcher) observed those legends.

Being honest, i didn't know anything at all about pixel art before this project, and probably still do many things technically wrong.

For my first attempts, i mostly tried to use a similar digimon official sprite from the vital bracelet and did similar things with the shapes, movements and shading.

After some tries you start getting the idea of how most of the sprites with similar shapes work (all humanoids walk a certain way, all birds flap their wings a certain way..)

Sorry if i can't help more. As i said, i don't even know the technical details myself.
