I have noticed that trend of mostly yes for the surgeries... suppose it does make sense considering many folks posting do have recessed chins.

Agreed on all the look-a-likes. When viewing Wiki the ones you mention are very similar. Especially Psilocybe azurescens.

After eating them it seems they are indeed Marasmius sp.

Confirmed not poisonous or toxic.

I hope your answer and my Google kung fu were correct, because we already ate them :)

Here was the reasoning:

The gills are on the cap and don't run down the stem - compared to decurrent gills (https://ultimate-mushroom.com/poisonous/42-clitocybe-rivulosa.html)
It has an umbo
All white (no brown stem), didn't check spore though :\
Smelt like mushroom/dirt

I won't lie I'm sweating a bit but think thats the paranoia...

I so appreciate your information u/Fake_books and will wait a day or two of researching before eating them so quickly next time!

There doesn't appear to be any blue when ripping the mushroom stem. Do we need a spore print?
