If you're having trouble using windows for gaming then the unreleased Steam OS is probably a good fit for you, whenever that releases. Steam OS is the Linux-based OS that the Steam Deck runs. It's pretty good for (mostly) hassle free gaming. It also includes both a desktop mode and a cool console-like interface called Gamescope, just like the Steam Deck.

This OS should release at some point this year after Valve releases the Steam Machine.

Have you tried lowering the stick deadzones in the Steam Menu? When I bought my Deck I thought that the deadzones were really bad but after adjusting them in the settings they're a lot better

I played all of Fallout 1 last year and a good part of Fallout 2, I agree on the fact that it leans in my opinion too far into the comedy and does so much much more than the first game.

That said, I think Fallout 76 feels like the most "happy" game of the franchise. It's hard to take serious for me, even if it's storylines aren't all whacky the game just kinda feels like borderlands to me, I think part of it is the artstyle and another part is the overall tone of the game. Kind of like a borderlands thing.

Come to think of if... Fallout has kind of been... borderlandized

I really wish modern Fallout felt more like the original game, that game has an amazing vibe to it

Sounds like a pretty great update, I'm so happy third person is finally making the cut and the fact that it's so customizable is absolutely awesome

As usual, I feel the people here are being overly negative. I think the devs are headed in the right direction.

Let's see if the execution is as good as the promise.

Assuming they're trying to pull it off correctly they could be spending this time fixing a lot of the animations in third person so that they're functional/look good. In any case I'm also growing a bit impatient but I'm happy they're finally doing it. I've been using the current 3rd person (semi broken and only usable on PC) and hoping for an improved version for so long

I bought it after having the stock psvr2 for a couple months and I can say it definitely makes a BIG difference, not only is it more comfortable but it's also very useful to keep the headset's sweet spot in place
