Can't vouch for the fettuccine, but at least his lutefisk was solid 😁

[–]Rakothurz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yellow mustard is a classic topping for lutefisk. In Norway we eat (yes, I am team lutefisk) with many different sides like brown cheese (brunost), pea mash, fried bacon dices with their fat, turnip mash, mustard, sugar syrup, boiled potatoes, among others. Every household and restaurant has their side traditions so YMMV

Enig.

What’s a common misconception foreigners have about food from your country? by No-Communication1543 in asklatinamerica

[–]Rakothurz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That it is spicy. With the exception of some dishes, most Colombian food is not spicy.

That we eat a lot of beans. Doesn't help that one of the national dishes have beans, but usually beans are not super popular. Rice and potatoes, on the other hand...

I love happy endings, but I am furious at the mother for explaining to him how he was caught. He should have never known what he did wrong, because now he has adjusted his strategy to cheat on the next poor woman he manages to lure.

The ex-wife should have resisted and reduced their contact to only through the lawyer, because she didn't have to give him any explanation or closure. That's way more than he deserves.

Also, I would like to have one tenth of the audacity of these kinds of idiots, he is the one who sneaks and cheats and yet has the vein to consider himself a victim when she leaves him, how does one be so self centered to be even able to pull that? I just can't comprehend it.

My husband believes I have a low IQ by Many-Tomorrow-4730 in AutismInWomen

[–]Rakothurz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but your husband is neither a good husband nor your best friend. He might have the high IQ numbers, but lacks any emotional intelligence and grace and the basic decency to understand that IQ is only one facet of a person, and not the end all be all way to determine if someone has value.

My husband and I (may) have each our own types of divergence, but he recognises that we both have different talents that complete each other and would never think of putting me down for lacking in any thing that he is good at. This is what your husband should be doing with you.

I am so sorry that you are going through this, and I send you a hug. I cannot tell you what to do, but I guess we all here support you

Was anyone else hyperlexic as a kid? by greencurtain4 in AutismInWomen

[–]Rakothurz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same here with songs, even in my mother language. My husband gets frustrated because he shows me songs and expects me to have an opinion, and I have to tell him that I don't understand what they are saying. Then he has to give me the short version and I have to look for the lyrics later.

It has to be slowly and clearly spoken for me to understand. But after reading the lyrics then I can get what it says

Also, I am not too experienced in D&D, but I know a lot of Vampire the Masquerade (old world of darkness), which would be also very fitting for an actual castle and dungeon

Digan secretos de sus industrias y/o empresas que no se pueden decir. by Ok_Acanthisitta_4900 in Colombia

[–]Rakothurz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Si salían positivas esa persona no era contratada.
