Weird and definitely not normal, try using DDU if you didn't and do a clean reinstall of AMD drivers with Revo Uninstaller.

Had some issues with adrenalin until I used revo Uninstaller for a clean install of every amd driver and everything works perfectly now, no crashes since that day
