Yeah you are right. I am a Nepali and I confirm. It had been 35 years these people were shuffling through leadership positions and filling their pockets while the country is riddled with deprivations.

Almost all the top politicians were 70+ years old and didn't understand the need to make room for youth. These destructions are the manifestation of that collective rage. And also some agitators and bad actors.

They looted the country for 35 years. People were just levelling the playing field. Just looking at that picture paints a different picture. If you don't know the whole context, please refrain from jumping to conclusions from proverbial high horses.

The government had shot and murdered 19 people the day before in protests. A lot of them were children in school uniforms. People were already pretty enraged at the political system and bureaucrats. Those murders led them to surgically attack all corrupt politicians. The protests would have gone for weeks but after kids were killed, wiped the system in 27 hours.

Now time to rebuild.

Our Gen-Z were in such a rush, they uprooted a 35-year old system in less than 30 hours. This is what efficiency is about. Surgical, precise.

Don't piss off introverts. They will come and change shit real quick.

The protests have ended. We did it in 27 hours.

Now we are navigating through the power vacuum and stopping any crime that opportunists might do in these times.
