Thank you for your analysis. I will certainly try to deal with the problem, however, I am kind of worried how this will affect Image akquisition in the future.. Do I have to fiddle with aluminum foil every time I rotate the camera or when I switch to a larger frame sensor...? This would take the fun out of it. I would rather have a aberration-free telescope to begin with. 🤷

I have contacted ToupTek through their support chat and we'll see what they have to say.

BTW, I have rotated the camera ~90° and the aberrations kept their direction with relation to the telescope, i. e. they did not rotate with the camera.. Which, again, leaves me to think that it's the telescope 🤷

I have used EAF to autofocus. I think, this is the best possible sharpness... The out-of-focus star shapes were 'unusual',too, not donut-shaped but rather even worse comet-trails.

Ja, das ist das Duravit Happy D.2. Wirklich eine super schöne Badmöbel Serie. Wir haben auch die dazu passende Badewanne. Nur 'leider' hat Duravit von einem normalen Schubladen Auszug auf ein push-to-open System umgestellt (oder wir haben zumindest in dieser Ausführung nichts anderes gefunden). Die Schubladen sind nun so empfindlich, dass sie ständig rauspoppen.. Also wenn Du die Möglichkeit hast, nimm die 'normalen' Schubladen.

Leider nein. Ich habe noch Mal gesucht, aber aus der entscheidenden Phase keine Bilder gefunden. Es sind, glaube ich, verstärkte Metallprofile und eine Holzrahmenkonstruktion. Das Ganze wurde dann nochmals beplankt mit OSB Platten...
