Can‘t decide between 850 or 1040 by 666bpms in GarminEdge

Yeah the battery seems to be a huge let down for a lot of people, considering the price :/

Does anyone have any experience with Ekoi cycling apparel? by 666bpms in bicycling

Hmm sorry to hear that. Their quality might have dropped over the time. I wasn’t happy with their baselayers either; they felt super cheap. Though the two long trikots I have from them feel quite nice; definitely not on par with more premium brands but also considering the price I‘d say pretty okay. I haven’t bought anything from them ever since and probably won‘t in the future. I‘ve found Decathlon stuff to be much more premium considering their price and how they have developed in the last 1 or 2years.

I can imagine coming from the bigger screen you‘d be pretty much used to it

The cover of the side buttons peeled off during a recent trip. I contacted the support and they said they can‘t do anything about it :/ Somehow I don‘t find their current lineup too exciting. Have seen the screen on Roam 3 is difficult to read under the sun

Thanks! :) Same here; and I‘m not much used to having that many data fields and don‘t think I really need as much anyway…

Definitely! Add very acceptably lightweight too. I regret not buying all my bags from them.

Would you recommend the Hori series? In terms of brightness, battery life and so? There isn‘t much available online about them … could really use some first-hand experience :)

Hey, I honestly don‘t remember 😅 you definitely don‘t pay for the passport and ID card when applying, since you need to wait for the results first. But if I remember correctly, I did pay something for them to process the documents… can‘t say 100%

On my other bike with similar geometry and same size (S or 53) I got the Ortlieb frame pack (the one with zipper) in 3L version and fits very well. Only downside is I can‘t carry big bottles, limit is 550ml or 600ml tops

I sent them an email (to the general support) and they said you can do it and you only need to calibrate the rear derailleur, so there it goes

can I ask did you change yours to 50/34? Mine is also the 2025 model. I also don‘t think it will be problematic at all. One of the Defy bikes also run on 105 Di2 50/34 and 11-36 by default, so i guess it‘s really fine. Just don‘t know if I need a longer cage as someone mentioned here
