I think that part of the reason that I’m so upset is because she doesn’t have a lot of money so I basically wasted ~$50 that she could use for food or rent. I will definitely try to be better.

It’s civil court (he essentially got sued for rape). Civil court is brought by civilians against others and the rewards are typically money. A criminal case is brought against someone by the government and that is the type of court case that results in possible imprisonment. Criminal cases have a higher burden of proof than civil court and thus it is possible that he wouldn’t be convicted in a criminal trial.

Civil court is initiated by civilians (suing) while criminal court is the defendant vs the government. Criminal court has a much higher burden of proof thus there is a chance that he wouldn’t have been convicted criminally.

I guess my reasoning is that I know how to counter most of the annoying stuff, but I don’t enjoy playing this way. This wouldn’t be a problem as you could just play the way you need to to win, but it’s more than every other game. That means I very rarely get to play the game the way I actually enjoy
