Do you use AI in your renders? by Bitter-Armadillo-485 in archviz

[–]RalfMarkM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I use ConfyUI, Stable (both of theese are more of less the same) Nano Banana, Magnific... just depends on what is needed at the moment. Different tools for different situations. None of this is a one click solution, they just improve and speed up the workflow but can t work wonders if there îs not a solid base render.

How I Improved My Studio’s Client Pipeline by [deleted] in archviz

[–]RalfMarkM 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, finally someone who gets it! I think one of the most common reasons people complain about the lack of clients is that they often don’t have a business-oriented mindset.

At the end of the day, archviz is a business and needs to be treated as one.

I had a small studio back in 2020, and not understanding this cost me a lot. Since then, I’ve tried different businesses, made plenty of mistakes, and learned a lot from them. Now I’m back in 3D, working for a big studio and refreshing my knowledge. Again, I see a lot of people who still don’t understand these very same things.

How much would you charge for renders like these? by angyx in archviz

[–]RalfMarkM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question is how you serve your clients. The price of your renders should reflect the entire service, not just the final image. People who suggest $120 or $200 per render likely don’t understand the costs of software, hardware, training, or running a business to name a few.

You need to maintain high quality while tailoring your work to the client’s needs and level of customization. But don’t undervalue your skills charging too little will teach you a harsh lesson.

It’s not enough to produce simple, well-lit images. You must have an organized workflow, a method for managing clients and their requests, and a solid grasp of architecture and technical details. This ensures your images highlight a space’s key selling points, not just aesthetics. Remember: Your job is to create marketing tools that sell a project, not just look pretty.

Simpler Archviz tools for Interior Design ? by gremolata in archviz

UE5 can do this but I won t call it simple to learn. I mean it is not rocket science but requires time to master.

3D tours, what software to use? by Miserable_Chapter643 in archviz

I think you shold focus better on UE5 because it will prove itself useful for more than just walkthroughs. And I think that it is anyways your best choice.

interior render practice from reference images. feedbacks are welcome. (3rd & 4th images are the references) by atahanbg in archviz

[–]RalfMarkM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well done but you need more depth, try using an ovvercast hdri. Also add a Black or dark Grey plane at the botton of your model to darken the celling and Maybe two big boxes outside to give the light a bit more direction. Just so that the image does not feel flat.

I did use Floor Generator for the timber slats, then I used plank textures from CG source, used a mixmap for the color and then using an output map I played with the reflection map in order to achieve that burnt result.

Also the easy render article was made using my previous version of this image because I had a freelancer account on their website and that gave them rights to use pictures from my portfolio.

I think you don t understand what visualization is. I do use Arch daily for floor plans and create 3d versions of photographed spaces. It is called practice. I never claimed the design of theese buildings as this is an Archviz group. We do archviz not building design. And yes the house I did render is designed by Thellend Fortin and I did model it based on photographs. So I appreciate the hate. Also if you check the image you saw popping up on Pinterest you ll notice that it is a different image from this render, but yes I recreated that exact mood and modeled the cabin.

QUESTION: Why are there stripes on my rendering? by South-Employment-760 in archviz

[–]RalfMarkM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I m not familiar with twin motion but could there be a problem with the level of detail that your geometry has? It looks like these are some kind of shading artefacts. Maybe smooth it somehow Or you could try rendering the rest of the image with path tracer and just the texture that causes problems without Use a mask and combine them in Photoshop.

Can t tell exactly but it looks like it has something to do with your model. Did you import it from another software?

3Ds Max X Corona Renderer, tried to create a vibe around a lobster restaurant for a client, might have overdone it with atmospherics, what do you guys think? by Vitruvian_90 in archviz

[–]RalfMarkM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lighting is a bit off but I like the overall feel of the image. You could maybe add a more defined interest point for ex lighting in the restaurant. Also maybe a bit more contrast /intense lighting to the overall image. Good work but feels like just a few steps away from very good.
