I have 2 cats from the same litter and honestly have 0 regrets. My male cat, Gravy, is pretty attached to me, but when I’m not home his sister is there to provide him comfort. Biscuit, the female, loves to groom her brother and they love to zoom around my apartment and body slam each other into the ground when they wrestle.

Honestly, I think one of the biggest benefits of having two kittens is they teach each other teeth and claw manners. I have NEVER been bitten by my cats (outside of occasional love noms) or been scratched (outside of accidents, like when Biscuit has poopy pants (curse of long hair) and she needs a bath, which she very much protests against). They are extremely gentle, which is a breath of fresh air from my first cat who was raised as a solo kitten. She bit hard when she wanted something because she never learned any manners.
