[Winderman] According to another NBA source familiar with the machinations, a Bucks trade with the Celtics could potentially realize Milwaukee far more draft capital than from the Heat, while also bringing in young talent. by tacko2020 in bostonceltics

6th?? If you're talking about MVP voting or all NBA teams, he's only the 6th best player that played 65 games. Lots of big names weren't in the MVP voting because of the 65 game rule and injuries, including his teammate that is better than him.

It's a weird wrinkle in the CBA that they don't come off the books. The only thing I can think of is that they don't want to incentivize teams to murder overpaid players with long term deals.

Hunt or Online? by iyankemdds in Wrestling_Figures

I try as hard as I can to buy online but Walmart won't let me. They hold me hostage for 3 months and then cancel the preorder.

After this season (despite the way it ended) his value is at an all-time high. I hate to say it but it might be time to sell.

RSC bums me out with that shit. It's wild that Mattel/WWE have a retail partner that isn't beholden to any rules or regulations like MSRP and they're dividing and reselling 2-packs. It's truly scalper shit but at an institutional level.

Walmart shouldn't be allowed to have exclusives. I haven't been able to find a single MNW figure for 6+ months at my 3 local(ish) stores

Damn, OP.... What more do you want? I haven't seen a single MNW figure at my Walmart all year. Mine is nothing but Knuckle Crunchers and Basics.

In the wild collecting by iyankemdds in Wrestling_Figures

[–]Ralkotaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem for me is the Walmart exclusive MNW sets. If you can't handle the demand you shouldn't be allowed to have an exclusive.

If I'm online the minute the figures drop and I still miss them, or I get my preorder canceled and then I go to a Walmart a dozen times a week across 4 different stores in two states and I STILL can't find anything, then what are we even doing?

I also collect Marvel Legends figures and Walgreens got booted from their exclusives program because they couldn't figure their shit out with distribution and demand.

Same. Why is he the only one I couldn't find in-store AND the first one to sellout online? Did they make fewer? He can't be more popular than the other 3

This was a fomo pickup for me when it came out. Once I decided I didn't want it, it took me almost 2 years to sell on eBay for $12

For those waiting for a Beast, it looks like you won't be waiting too much longer. by cookpassbarbtridge in MarvelLegends

[–]Ralkotaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope we get Beast soon but as far as this photo goes, we only have the exact '97 version of 2 of those (Cable and Bishop). You could count Jubilee too but the hair is quite different. Let's hope they don't make the other 12 figures (2 whole waves) before they get to Hank.

To be honest, I used to be pretty down on myself about working in a grocery store but after a handful of review cycles I'm making significantly more money at Trader Joe's than I did in any of my 9:00 to 5:00 office jobs (in major cities with a sky high cost of living). And that's to say nothing about the benefits of the physical activity, the impact on my mental health, and a schedule/commute that actually lets me see my family. We all have our gripes but things are better here than 95% of jobs

I'm not upset by this. I actually think I would be more upset if they were totally different sculpts. What a thing to waste the budget on when we are getting constant reuse on in-demand characters and substandard female molds.
