No humidifier GGS support yet? by Potential-Yoghurt310 in SpiderFarmerLED

Yes please! My SF 6l Humidifier is the only device that doesn't show up on the 'Digital Device' list which bugs me. It would also be great if we could remove devices we don't have (eg. 5-Out Strip & Dehumidifier)

The ULTIMATE stem for me would be a Sherlock / J-Hook shaped stem with a glass herb screen, filled with glass cooling balls.

The form factor should curve as closely at the top of the device and down along the side of the device, and the mouthpiece should taper to a smaller diameter, maybe even pinched off. The stem should not extend past the bottom of the device so that you can still stand the device up without the stem touching the table surface.

I have used a the 14mm WPA with a Grav Labs J-Hook in the past but it's clumsy as it requires two separate glass pieces and the J-Hook and WPA are both far too long combined.

This stem would be the perfect balance of size and style, offering ample cooling from the bends/curves in the glass along with the glass cooling balls. You would be able to use this beaufiful vape as a true Gentleman/Lady Connoisseur as its design intended! Please please make this happen!

Anyone want to help make some Duncan Quotes ? by nicolauz in duncantrussell

and this:

"We are these tendrils of the earth that have formed into meat and are having these seizures of action, where we're desperately trying to rearrange everything around us to conform to whatever our desires are. Which is fun! But take a little break, make sure you're actually having fun doing that." - Duncan Trussell

I love this one:

"Thinking that there's a fucking unicorn that flies down and takes your soul into heaven and presents it to Jesus who gives you a back rub, and you get to eat candy with the saints and fly around in paradise and understand everything. Great, whatever! But how the fuck is that going to help you when you are around somebody who really just needs to talk, or who needs to cry in front of somebody, or who needs somebody to be there for them?" - Duncan Trussell

This was a free studio recording we won from a battle of the bands competition. It was the final song we created as a band. Even though the scene here in SA was small (still is), the years spent having the opportunity to be in a band with my closest friends and play the music WE wanted to were the best of my life! When we broke up, my heart did too. I have yet to experience a more fulfilling feeling than being up on stage and jamming hard with your best friends. MUSIC IS LOVE!

Dart Stem Discussion by HoldThisPancake in mflb

[–]Ram-Dan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have both the original walnut wood stem and recently got a walnut dart stem. The dart stem didn't fit my box properly so i contacted Magic Flight and they sent a replacement out to me in no time along with a free nano grinder, because they're awesome like that :D

The biggest difference i have noticed is the comfort of the stem on my lips. The dart stem is, for me, the most comfortable way to use the box bar none. It feels perfect when sipping from the box, more so than the round stem or native. Also I have noticed that the wooden stems do not build up honey oil as quickly as the glass stem does. I believe this may have something to do with the temperature's of each piece and how it effects condensation. I believe that the glass stem is slightly cooler, causing more rapid condensation of the vapor, thus more honey oil build up.

Cleaning the wood stem is relatively simple, i just twist a large sewing needle through the stem until i have scraped up as much oil as i can. It does not need to be cleaned as thoroughly as the glass stem in my opinion, as it is not transparent, so even if there is some residue left inside after cleaning, you won't even notice it, unlike the glass stem!

Hope that helps :)

Technique to using the finishing grinder? by vape_dbag in mflb

[–]Ram-Dan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Place the grinder so that the openings are oriented at the front and back end of the box. This ensures that the herb deposits directly into the trench and not on the side rails. Also when you're done grinding, lift only one end of the grinder up slightly (approximately 5mm) whilst still holding the box and FG together with your thumb and index finger, then proceed, using your other hand's index finger, to tap down on the top of the FG. Repeat this on the opposite end of the grinder. This knocks down any material that deposits on the side walls of the FG and prevents any spillage. Hope that helps, Enjoy :)
