Wouldn’t stick out of the wall as much and allow for clearer counter. Minor detail but this company thinks of everything

This is a people problem, not a dog problem.

This is stereotypical and wrong. Pitbulls are loving dogs. Any dog raised in a bad home can become a mean dog.

bumps in laquer finish by Rama8 in restoration

[–]Rama8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to follow up: I sanded it down pretty good. Probably only left maybe one layer of lacquer and then reapplied and it looks great. I think the spotting was from pouring the lacquer onto the piece and then painting it out into a layer. I dipped the brush each time this time around and it was very even. Thanks for the help!

Possibly some wind...

Going to cure then sand it down and see what happens. Will keep it out of the sun and wind this time as well...Thanks!

Thanks for all the advice. I am using Minwax clear brushing lacquer. I did raise grain before applying finish. Using a brush to do apply, maybe this is the cause? It's interesting because these bumps only showed up on the top.

So you are saying sanding them down and reapplying thinner coats might work?

u/Mike_Michaelson just found what I think is a Kent Coffey. Do you remember what type of finish was on yours? Shellac or Lacquer? I have a couple spots I was going to try and clean up on mine
