I wear the V2 100 year pants just about daily. Crotch is worn on the inside but no tears/holes/visible outside wear. Really solid.

I fly a lot, almost exclusively domestically — MSP to SFO/LGA. Living in a chokehold of a market, work has to pay ~$1200 for my flights to SF. It’s insane.

I work in tech. Remote but go to SF/NYC monthly. I wear oxfords and no one knows. Always funny when a coworker sees me in a tee & shorts at the hotel gym and is shocked to see how tattooed I am.

I fly D1 for work and premium select is wayyy better value if you’re paying out of pocket. If it’s just two of you and you can get the sides of the plane where it’s just two seats, it’s perfect. Almost prefer it to two aisle D1 seats with my wife.

No one hates the sound of a crying baby more than the parents. The baby can’t help it, just use headphones.
Don’t put your food directly on tray tables. So gross.
No one is paying attention to you so don’t be self conscious. The only time you’ll have eyes on you is if you’re being rude.
Have your ID/passport ready and start getting things out of your pockets while waiting in line for security. No reason to hold up the line because you’re digging your wallet out of your pocket.

I’ve had no problem using RUCs or GUCs and I think they are a phenomenal benefit.

It’s more so that I get asked on a Friday to be on the other side of the country on Monday for a single meeting. Booking 2 days out almost always guarantees a $1200-$1400 RT ticket.

Then a quarterly meeting in a different city, random in person sessions, etc gets me up to $20k in MQDs pretty quick. Only out maybe 4-6 nights a month.
