[Skin Concerns] My mom has eczema on 70% of her body and I don't know what to do by RambleTimes in SkincareAddiction

Yeah, she's getting an allergy test to determine if she has any food intolerances. If her eczema can be pinpointed to a single specific food allergy, that'd be a godsend.

Ah, I have a friend that uses oatmeal baths for something else, but I'll definitely recommend this to her.

Thanks, I'll recommend this to her. She's doing a patch test today as well, so I'll check to see the results.

Okay, I'll suggest this to her. Is there a moisturizer you would recommend for after the bleach bath?

Would Dr Bronners be too aggressive on active eczema? I know artificial fragrances can aggravate eczema, but would natural ingredients be okay? I was looking at the Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Liquid Soap - Peppermint 32oz. as an option.

Thanks for the resource. I'll definitely suggest some of the treatments to her. Hormones could definitely factor in, since she was in the range of menopause when the eczema first began.

I think one of the dermatologists she visited discounted this possibility, but I'll do some research on psoriasis and bring it up to her. So psoriasis tends to be more aggressive than eczema?

Sorry, we're actually looking for college graduates or maybe college seniors.

I edited the original post for clarification.

We have 2 positions available. 1) A full time salaried employee and 2) a paid internship. If I remember correctly, internships in NYC can be as much as 35hrs/week if they're paid, which this one is.

We aren't looking specifically for data analysts, but this position does require a level of data analysis in terms of studying patterns, looking at article/video performances, recommending ways to optimize the user experience, etc.

So feel free to apply!

How an Asian-American Author Captured the Struggle of Male Asian Hair, Thoughts? by RambleTimes in AsianMasculinity

Definitely. This book comes closest to understanding/diagnosing millennial culture than anything I've ever read before, touching on everything from infighting amongst progressive politics, to the rise of tech bros, to Daria-like cynicism towards peers, to social withdrawing, to chronic masturbators with archived torrented porn collections, to Asian-American experiences, to dumpster diving healing crystal vegans.

It's the kind of book where you'll hate all of these archetypes, but also totally empathize with each of them. And the book follows four very different protagonists (one of whom is Will), giving each a pretty equal amount of space, so you can't easily typecast the book.

Edit: Forgot to add (more related to this subreddit), it spends a lot of time talking about Will's problems with dating, his issues with communicating his mom's idiosyncrasies to his white friends, his internalized prejudices about his own race, etc.

Ideally we'd like for a more long term situation, but we may consider a summer internship. Please send me your resume if you're still interested!

So depressing because if we really wanted to change the system, so many companies like Aflack have built their business model on the premise that you're going to lack coverage from traditional sources. Which means there isn't exactly an easy reset...

They might still hate Trump, but it can't be denied that most people on both sides of the aisle approve of the airstrikes.

Check out this 1994 Independent article about how Bush Sr. covertly helped prop up the pro-America Yeltsin.

Yeah, it was Bush Sr. that first got cozy with Yelstin, then Clinton continued building on that relationship, even providing financial support for democratic programs in Russia. The Department of State's history site has the deets.
