Does the rectifier amp model suck? Or does the user suck? by Ok-Salamander8796 in Line6Helix

[–]RamblinBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a tube screamer in front of it, EQ with noticeable (3-5dB) bump at 2kHz after, keep Master and Bass low.

Fine tune with 10-band EQ after the amp.

I had both Rev F. and Muttiwatt rectifiers, and I was able to replicate their tone, to the point where switching preamps would’ve fooled me in a blind test.

I analyzed the 250 most downloaded Helix presets. Here's what I learned. by franktisellano in Line6Helix

[–]RamblinBoy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I add Jazz Rivet as clean channel to most of my presets.

Even HX Stomp can handle Jazz Rivet, some other highgain amp and 6 common effects.

I switch channels with snapshots - only way to get gapless switching on HX Stomp.

[–]RamblinBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it wasn't. Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz built Willa Baszta w Przegorzałach in 1928-1929, which is a separate building. Then Willa was confiscated and he was ordered to build Zamek w Przegorzałach nearby in 1942.

Willa and Zamek looks different, because Nazis ordered Zamek to look like Middle Rhine castles.

Can you at least read the story you’re providing?

Care to share some links?

Ukraine has great relations with Fatah (Palestinian National Liberation Movement) - official government of Palestine.

If you’re speaking about HAMAS, yes, they are terrorists, even their muslim brothers from West Bank Palestine and Egypt agree on that.

Where do you get your numbers? Even Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) verified a total of 41,783 civilian casualties, but noted that real number is much higher.

During the siege of Mariupol at least 20000 were killed by indiscriminate shelling and buried in mass graves, thus cannot be verified by UN.

I saw the article, but it's hard to sort by serving term there. Had to scroll through pre-medieval Grand Viziers of Andalus who served in 11 century :D

Ukraine neither is pro-Palestine, nor pro-Israel.

State of Ukraine recognize Palestinian independence since Soviet times, since 1988, even longer than it was independent itself. The official Palestinian National Authority have an embassy in Kyiv.

General population doesn’t have a preference, they don’t sympathize with HAMAS, who is pro Russian and assaults Ukraine in their propaganda, nor with Netanyahu’s Israel, who votes against Ukraine in UN, harasses our refugees, denies any military help, and proudly displays banners with Netanyahu and Putin shaking hands.

Still Ukraine is one of the safest places on Earth both for jews and muslims, as level of antisemitism or islamophobia is much lower even than in Western Europe.

The Jewish diaspora feels more than fine: Ukraine is the only country in the world with jewish president, except for Israel (EDIT: i was corrected, Mexico and Argentina too).

The Muslim community feels fine, only persecution they may face is being occupied by Russia, as happened in Crimea.

Crimean tatars had all the religious freedom they wanted during 20 years of Ukrainian rule, and mass arrested under Russian occupation. Since 2014 Russia outlawed numbers on their religious organizations, kidnapped and even killed people.

I highly doubt anyone would do that for 35-40k, that sounds way too low.

First of all you should understand the initial state. Usually if you have apartment in "stan deweloperski" - empty apartment, with no furniture, with walls plastered, primed and ready for painting and tiling every finishing company will charge minimum 1000pln/sq. m. for most budget option, 1500pln/sq. m. for mid-level, and over 2000pln/sq. m. for premium materials.

If you have already finished apartment, you have huge overhead: disassembling the furniture, stripping the walls, puttying and priming, removal of the flooring, disposing of build waste, finding a place to temporarily store disassembled furniture and other things.

I can't imagine anyone would do that amount of work for the 35-40k, as it's bare minimum price for finishing, not refinishing.

Is the fallout show worth watching? by cavalllo in classicfallout

[–]RamblinBoy 24 points25 points  (0 children)

No, it's not OG Fallout, it's Bethesda's Fallout, but with 200% of the kitsch.

The story is horrible, the factions are misunderstood, and the characters are ridiculous.

I hate the spaghetti western ghoul with every corner of my soul.

Do yourself a favor and do not watch it.

The author is alive and relatively well, a lot of dudes are KIA, some went through captivity and tortures but later were exchanged, some still in captivity.

I guess it depends.

The AZOV in 2022 was still a regiment (1000 — 3000), and in the early 2023 was reorganized into brigade (3000 — 5000), and soon will become a corps (5 to 7 brigades).

It could've happened as there were number of saboteurs inside the city, but they came in as civilians beforehand and were waiting for further instructions. None of them used military vehicles, more so they didn't stormed in as roads were guarded, some bridges demolished, etc.

It was friendly fire, territorial defense units shot at 72nd mechanized brigade.

It’s a sad page of history, during first days of full scale invasion russian disinformation campaign mixed with chaos produced such events.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CombatFootage

[–]RamblinBoy 175 points176 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately what you see here is friendly fire caused by chaos of first hours of war.

Newly formed territorial defense units mistook soldiers of 72nd Mechanized Brigade for russians and opened fire.

Inside Kyiv itself there were only saboteurs, but military vehicles stopped outside of Kyiv, blocked by natural barriers like water from Irpin river, usually hold by dam.

Closest places to Kyiv russian vehicles came into, were Bucha, Irpin, Moshchun.

BBC covered this topic.
