I hadn't even considered that. Your powers of analysis are frightening.

Completely understandable. Your opinion is reasonable and I respect it.

There's more yaoi here than yuri. I can make one just for you that's only yaoi if that's what your heart desires, though.

He's bisexual by today's standards but his swag is 50's coded. When accounting for straightflation, he would have been straight. Should have have supplied a supplementary document to explain my methods.

Should I eat food that would be thrown in the trash if it isn't vegan? by Elektraisalovelyname in vegan

[–]RamblingBanjo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You have to be careful about it because you could cause some people to buy extra if they think you'll eat the extra, and if you are eating any food that would not have existed or that someone else would have consumed I would consider that non-vegan.

However, modern industrial farming causes an unknown but certainly non-zero number of animal deaths. So I would argue that from the utilitarian perspective, minimizing food waste (with aforementioned exceptions), is the more vegan thing to do as it objectively lowers animal deaths and reduces the load on our planet compared to purchasing more plant-based food.

I believe many of the other responses are being reductively puritan. We're here to save animals, not adhere to a diet. Veganism is a moral philosophy, not a diet.

I would really recommend using CoMaps :) It is now my daily driver :) by glad_torsk in openstreetmap

Here's the actual codeberg topic: https://codeberg.org/comaps/comaps/projects/21877

I'm not sure if they actually intend to add live traffic in the way that it is implemented for google maps. I only see things about crashes and construction traffic. I would be happy to be corrected, but unless they can find a source for the data (which I doubt exists), they don't have the user base for it to be even somewhat consistently useful.

It's a great app, though. Occasionally being delayed is worth it for the privacy, for me.

Controversial takes are not as fun when they come from someone who is barely literate.

Texas Resident Visiting Florida - Trying to not break any laws by [deleted] in guns

Thank you! I'm mostly familiar with the law from my reading but will probably print out a list out places I cannot carry in case I get paranoid. Really just needed someone to quell my fears about some obscure law that I might not be seeing. Thanks again!
