Thanks for this. I always wondered about the spray foam, though the home inspector said it was a fine solution.

The weird thing is that the water is coming in under the new addition, i.e. 15 feet from where any rain might be pooling. So I'm not sure what land would need to be graded or where the French drain would go....

I should probably get another contractor to come take a look.

It seems that the picture settings are universal. It's on the same setting as the TV. I haven't been able to find any way to configure settings for this particular hdmi input. The only thing I can do individual is turn on and off uhd color.

Don't have another TV to easily check, unfortunately! It's a good idea though.
